About the job as a tech lead
At EngineerIT, you will be part of a small team of experienced engineering professionals, and as we are a young startup, you will play an important role in forming our company culture and traditions.
As a technical lead, you will be responsible for guiding clients’ automation projects from concept to commissioning with a minimum of delays and interruptions to production.

- Auditing design documents from suppliers
- Checking that suppliers adhere to the customer’s requirements
Who are you?
As a person
You are thorough and you take great pride in a job well done. You have the experience to drive projects independently and like to be part of a small, tightly knit team with an informal tone and a flat hierarchy where everybody feels valued and comfortable speaking up.
You enjoy the process of understanding new technology and new manufacturing processes, and you are secure enough in your abilities to both ask for and share feedback, help and advice when necessary.
Solid relational abilities are an advantage as you will be collaborating and communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders, from management to operators.

You need to have:
- a relevant educational background, e.g., MSc in Engineering, BA in Technology Management, BSc in Power Electrical Engineering or similar

Practical questions
Is the position full time or part time?
The position is full-time by default, but we are open to a dialogue about the need to work part time. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all solution, but in finding the balance that works for you.
Can I work remotely?
The position is hybrid with varying degrees of working from home: At the start of each new project, you will need to work closely with the client at their premises to understand their manufacturing process and requirements and build the foundation for your collaboration with key stakeholders. Once the project is under way, remote work is often possible two to three days per week.
Where will I be working?
Our clients are located on Zealand, Denmark, most of them in or near the capital region. When you are not on site at the client’s premises, you have the possibility to work from our office in Måløv or you can work from home. You should expect approximately 10-20 days of international travel per year to meet with suppliers, mainly within the EU.
