Automation engineers with hands-on experience
EngineerIT was founded by senior automation engineers Lasse Ågård Jensen and Mads Jacob Dømgaard in 2024. Lasse and Mads have extensive experience from the OEM industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the food and beverage industry.
They both started out as industrial electricians. This hands-on experience with industrial machinery and production lines informs their PLC concepts, troubleshooting and stakeholder requirements, providing you with an automation solution that works as well efficiently in practice as it does on the drawing board.

Mads Jacob Dømgaard
Co-Founder and
Senior Automation Engineer
Mads specialises in standardising PLC and HMI software, making systems and interfaces easier to use, maintain and scale.
Mads is an AP Graduate in automation engineering and has worked closely with OEMs as well as manufacturers in the food and beverage industry and pharma. In 2019, he and his team won the Red Dot Award for their HMI interface design.
Lasse Ågård Jensen
Co-Founder and
Senior Automation Engineer
Lasse is a specialist on PLC programming, servosystems, HMI design and programming and technical project management of complex automation solutions.
Lasse holds a BSc in Power Electrical Engineering and started his career as an industrial electrician. Over the past 15 years, he has worked with robotic system integration and automation projects for OEMs and within the pharmaceutical industry.
Jacob Hansen
Senior Automation Engineer
Jacob works with PLC, HMI, SCADA and servo systems and knows how to get solutions to work in practice – not just on paper.
With a background in marine engineering, he understands both electrical and mechanical systems. He has spent several years working on automation projects across different industries, where getting the details right is often what makes the difference.
Rune Callesen
Senior Automation Engineer
Rune is an experienced automation engineer with a solid technical background and many years of hands-on expertise in electrical systems, robotics, and software development.
He has led numerous projects from concept to completion and has a strong ability to identify and prevent potential delays during the process. With his structured, conscientious approach, Rune delivers reliable and well-crafted solutions that work in practice.
Micho Petersen
Senior Automation Engineer
Micho has extensive experience in laboratory automation, robotics, and advanced machinery, primarily within pharma.
With a background in automation and robotics engineering, Micho follows a project through the full automation lifecycle, from concept and design to programming, testing, and system integration. His work often combines PLC, motion control, robotics, and vision systems in a way that fits the specific setup.
Gustav Jacobsen
Student Assistant
Gustav studies computer science and develops internal systems that support the team’s day-to-day work and improve structure across projects.
With his pragmatic and energetic approach to every task, he turns ideas into working solutions that can be used straight away, contributing to the ongoing development of the team.
