Being part of the automation engineer team at EngineerIT

At EngineerIT, you will collaborate on small and large automation projects with some of Denmark’s leading pharma and food manufacturers and OEMs. Tasks range from coding PLCs and HMIs to on-site troubleshooting to technical project management, depending on your qualifications and preferences.

Your colleagues take great pride in delivering tried and tested automation solutions where all the t’s are crossed and the i’s dotted. You will work with a wide variety of client stakeholders, including management, technicians, operators, consultants and more, and being able to adjust your communication to different perspectives and skill levels is a must.

As we work with clients in some of the most highly regulated industries, experience with qualification, validation and compliance is an advantage. If you don’t already have it, we will help you get it.

Meet Mads and Lasse, EngineerIT’s founders

EngineerIT is founded by experienced automation engineers Lasse Ågård Jensen and Mads Jacob Dømgaard. We both have backgrounds as industrial electricians specializing in PLCs and HMIs, and we appreciate practical, hands-on experience in our employees as well.

Company culture – what to expect

Our main motivation for starting EngineerIT was to create the sort of workplace we wanted for ourselves.

As a startup, the company culture is not set in stone, but for us the most important thing is to create a safe work environment characterized by mutual trust, respect and a strong team spirit. And if we can have a good laugh together, even better.

The foundation of our company culture is these four core values:

R

Good work-life balance

We do our best work when we can recharge fully with our families, friends and hobbies, so of course you should be able to do the same.

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all solution, but in finding the balance that works for you.

Whether you prefer to work part time, to have flexible working hours, or to work more for a time, we are open to a dialogue about how best to accommodate your needs.

R

Cohesive team culture

As consultants we are often scattered across different client locations, so we all need to consciously invest time and effort in creating the team cohesion that is the foundation for a safe work environment where everybody feels welcome, valued and comfortable speaking up.

You are invited to a number of social events with the team and time will be set aside for informal socializing with your new co-workers during your onboarding.

R

Mutual trust

We trust you to get the job done, to ask for help when you need it, and to speak up if you spot something we can improve.

In return, you can trust us to provide the support you need, to view mistakes as an opportunity to learn, and to have your back and manage the dialogue with the client in the event of a disagreement.

R

Room to grow

Everybody, from the fresh graduate to the senior specialist, should have the opportunity to grow and learn throughout their working life.

You will be offered professional development as needed, and we aim to assign you the projects and responsibility that will allow you to stretch and grow your abilities.

For junior roles, we also make sure you have the support of a more experienced colleague.
