Automation engineers with hands-on experience
EngineerIT was founded by senior automation engineers Lasse Ågård Jensen and Mads Jacob Dømgaard in 2024. Lasse and Mads have extensive experience from the OEM industry, the pharmaceutical industry and the food and beverage industry.
They both started out as industrial electricians. This hands-on experience with industrial machinery and production lines informs their PLC concepts, troubleshooting and stakeholder requirements, providing you with an automation solution that works as well efficiently in practice as it does on the drawing board.
Meet the team
Mads Jacob Dømgaard
In addition to being an expert on PLC and HMI programming and user interfaces, co-founder and senior automation engineer Mads is a specialist in standardization of PLC and HMI software.
Mads is an AP Graduate in automation engineering and has worked extensively with OEMs, as well as manufacturers in the food and beverage industry and the pharmaceutical industry, and in 2019, he and his team won the Red Dot Award for their HMI interface design.
Lasse Ågård Jensen
Co-founder and senior automation engineer Lasse is an expert in PLC programming, servo-systems, HMI design and programming and technical project management of complex automation solutions.
Lasse has a BSc in Power Electrical Engineering and a background as an industrial electrician and has 15 years of experience with robotic system integration and automation projects for OEMs and the pharmaceutical industry.
Jacob Hansen
Senior automation engineer Jacob is a specialist in programming PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and servo-systems, bringing a strong combination of practical and technical expertise in industrial machinery.
With a background as a Marine Engineer, Jacob has extensive theoretical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, along with several years of hands-on experience in executing complex automation solutions across various industries and technical disciplines.
Rune Callesen
Rune is an experienced automation engineer with a solid technical background and many years of hands-on expertise in electrical systems, robotics, and software development.
He has led numerous projects from concept to completion and has a strong ability to identify and prevent potential delays during the process. With his structured, conscientious approach, Rune delivers reliable and well-crafted solutions that work in practice.
